When can the tests be taken?

The tests can be taken at any time during the Common Pre-Tests session, which runs from October to June in each academic year.

The invigilation centre will schedule the tests according to the test deadline set by the senior school. Sometimes the Applicant has more than one senior school application. In that case, the invigilation centre can view all the senior school deadlines and schedule according to the earliest deadline.

In some cases, the invigilation centre is the pupil's current school or a senior school to which they are applying. In which case, the tests will probably be scheduled on a suitable date during the school timetable.

What if the invigilation centre is a non-school venue, such as a British Council Office overseas?

Parents or guardians should liaise directly with the centre and book a date that meets the test deadline of the school(s) to which they are applying. Once this has been confirmed, the centre can schedule the tests in the Invigilation Centre Portal.
