How do I schedule the tests?

Modified on Tue, 5 Nov at 11:56 AM

Please note that you will only be able to schedule assessments for an applicant once their profile is complete and they have active senior school applications.

When scheduling your tests, make sure you are scheduling them in line with the applicant’s earliest senior school test due date. To access this information, you can see this on the Applicants dashboard.

When should I schedule the tests?

Add new assessment

In order to set an assessment, please select the second logo (clipboard) on the left-hand side of your screen. Here you will see a page displaying Assessments and an option to 'Add Assessment' in the top right.

Define the assessment details

Select add assessment and you will be asked to name your assessment, choose the timeframe in which the tests will happen and select which tests you will be scheduling. You can schedule one assessment for the whole cohort, or you can have multiple assessments depending on group, date and time, SEND.  If you have multiple assessments you will be able download and print off the Test Codes for each assessment separately, but you will also have different invigilator codes (these are needed to pause the tests).

TIPS:

Select all four tests for each scheduled assessment, that way the pupils' Test Codes will be the same for all four tests.

Set a start and end date wider than your anticipated test window, that way if a pupil misses a test on any given day they can still take it the next day.

If you are having multiple assessments make sure you name the assessments accordingly.

Once you have input your information into all fields, please click schedule. You will then be shown a page displaying details of your test time frame, with the option to edit if necessary.

After scheduling the test, you need to add the applicants you want to take the tests.  You need to select 'Add Applicants' to choose who to assign to this scheduled assessment.  You are able to select the check box to add multiple applicants but make sure if you have more than ten applicants you move to the next pages of applicants and select those too.
