When can the tests be taken?

The tests can be taken at any time during the Common Pre-Tests session, which runs from September to May in each academic year.

The invigilation centre will schedule the tests according to the test deadline set by the senior school. Sometimes, the applicant has more than one senior school application. In that case, the invigilation centre can view all the senior school deadlines and schedule according to the earliest deadline.

In some cases, the invigilation centre is the pupil's current school or a senior school to which they are applying. In which case, the tests will probably be scheduled on a suitable date during the school timetable.

Suppose the invigilation centre is a non-school venue, such as a British Council Office overseas. In that case, the parent or guardian should book a date which meets the test deadline of the school(s) to which they are applying.
