What should I use the label field for?

When you upload the Applicant ID, you will see the option to add your own label. This is a discretionary field you can use to categorise your applicants.

Schools most often use labels with pupils joining in different years. For example, two pupils might both be in Year 6, but one is starting in Year 7, and the other is starting in Year 9.

Another example is identifying whether an applicant is an internal applicant (already at the prep school) or a new applicant from another school (external applicant).

Information you add to the label is exported when you download results. This makes it a helpful tool for sorting or filtering applicants.
