Who can take the Pre-Tests?

Modified on Tue, 18 Mar at 8:55 AM

The ISEB Pre-Tests are taken as part of the admission process to a senior school. Your prospective senior school can tell you if you need to sit the Pre-Tests.

The tests are designed for pupils in Years 6 and 7. Some senior schools use the tests for admission into Year 7, while others use it for entry into Year 9.

The Mathematics and English tests are broadly based on the National Curriculum, meaning the tests are suitable for all pupils seeking entry into senior schools.

The tests can be taken by pupils in the UK and overseas.
