I am a non-school centre. What do I need to do?

Reading the Invigilation Centre Guide will give you an overview of your role and responsibilities. The process is the same whether you are a school or non-school venue.

Register

Check you have registered as an invigilation centre.

How do I register to become an invigilation centre for the Common Pre-Tests?

Learn about the Portal

We recommend familiarising yourself with the Portal by watching the Getting Started for Invigilation Centres video.

Check Applicants

We expect that, unlike school venues, the applicants taking the tests at your location may not be familiar to you.

When a parent or guardian selects your centre as their invigilation centre, their child's information will appear in your Invigilation Centre Portal. Please check these details carefully before giving approval.

Approving or declining a pupil who has selected my venue as the Invigilation Centre

ISEB recommends that parents and guardians speak to an invigilation centre before making their selection. However, you can see registered contact details in the portal, so you can get in touch with them if the applicant is unfamiliar to you.
