Children will usually take the Pre-Tests at their current school, or at a senior school to which they are applying. If your child’s current school does not usually host the Pre-Tests, it is quick and easy for them to get set up as an invigilation centre, and ISEB can support them throughout the process. We have created a flyer that parents can share with their child’s current school that explains how to get set up as an invigilation centre in two simple steps, and what they will need to run the session.
Download the Two steps to become a Pre-Tests invigilation centre flyer for current schools.
If you need to find an invigilation centre, please review the map (linked below) to see if there is a centre in your area that you can contact.
If you cannot locate the invigilation centre of your choosing on the portal, firstly, check that it is not on the list by searching for other parts of the invigilation centre details, for example, the address or postcode.
If it is still not on the list and you have made arrangements with them to take the tests, you can request that it be added.
Please note that all invigilation centres should read the Invigilation Centre Guide to ensure they can meet the requirements for applicants to sit the tests.
To request an invigilation centre, they need to complete the information in this form.
Once they have submitted the form, ISEB will then check the details, and once approved, the account will be created, and the invigilation centre will receive a welcome email with their login details.
You will then be able to select them as their invigilation centre in the Guardian Portal.
If ISEB has any queries about your request, we will get in touch with you directly.
