Pausing a test

Modified on Mon, 20 Nov, 2023 at 3:04 PM

You can pause or unpause a test by entering your ‘Invigilator Code’ on the applicant’s device.

You might have to pause the test for one of these reasons:

  1. Rest break for pupils with SEND (see the applicant profile under 'Requested other adjustments')
  2. Pupil unwell
  3. Technical difficulties

Your ‘Invigilator Code’ can be found in the Invigilation Centre Portal. Please go to https://iseb.eva.tech/invigilation-centre/ and enter your login credentials. Select the ‘Assessments’ tab (found in the upper left-hand corner).

From here, you will see a section titled ‘Invigilator Info’.

Select ‘Show Invigilator Code’, and a pop-up will appear with your unique code. You can enter this code on the applicant’s device to pause and unpause a test.

To pause the test, the invigilator will need to select the 'i' button in the top right of the pupil's test screen. At the end of the information is the 'pause test' button. The invigilator will be required to input the invigilator code to pause and resume the test.
